U10's Rugby Ball Giving Scheme

Yeds & Roarys Pride Donate to the Rugby Community

 

Yeds Supporters Group & Roarys Pride will donate 10 training balls to every club running an u10’s side in Oldham. 

 

Last week Roary went along to Limehurst Lions to kickstart this project and handed over 10 training balls to much excitement of the players.

 

Roary hung around for a while say hello to every age group, he also took his rope and let the teams have a go of Tug-of-war, something that will now happen at Half-Time of our next home fixture, exclusively for Roarys Pride members. 

 

This all came about when Yeds Member, Tony Linney, offered his help with an idea he had wanted to put forward for a long time and something he knew the Yeds Supporters Group were keen on doing.

 

Tony Said:  “I didn't do it for personal recognition, just my little bit of help to raise interest in the YSG and Roary's Pride and also help the junior grass roots teams in Oldham”

 

We would like to thank Tony for his kindness and generosity for this kind gesture and we’re hoping that we can be a-lot more involved with our rugby community moving forward, with members creating opportunities like this for our younger generation we are sure that we can continue to build.
