2022 UPDATE

THANK YOU TO ALL FOR BEING A MEMBER, SPONSOR, DONATOR OR JUST HELPING US AND MORE IMPORTANTLY FOR SUPPORTING THE CLUB.

GOING INTO 2023 WE NEED EVEN MORE SUPPORT TO CREATE CHEAPER AWAY DAYS, HELP THE CLUB AND BRING US ALL TOGETHER.

FROM 2023 ONWARDS, PETER DAWSON AND DAVE THOMAS WILL BE A BIG PART OF THE YEDS ALONG SIDE JAMIE AND WE WANT MORE OF YOU INVOLVED, WE WILL ALSO HAVE SOME MUCH NEEDED HELP FROM JULIE SMITH THROUGHOUT THE SEASON WHICH WE CNNOT THANK HER ENOUGH FOR.

WERE GROWING AND WE WANT TO BUILD ON A SUCCESSFUL 2022, INTO 2023.

Firstly a massive thank you to all who contributed to the Yeds in 2021/22.

Your help provided us with a base in oldham, away travel to most away games and much much more.

For the 2023 season we will be keeping memberships at £4.50 or £6.50 as per the fam survey we sent out. We will be announcing a few items we will be doing more in 2023 like monthly draws we just couldn’t do last season as-well as monthly bonus ball type things, keep your eyes peeled, being a member next year could prove vital in our 2023 promotion hunt!

But the main aim was to help the club and for our first year we can say it was successful:

WHAT WE DID TOGETHER !!!

• Preseason raffle prizes.

• Season ticket that we bought and gave away.

• Oldham gift card was bought and given away.

• Lots of match tickets were given away.

• Made pin badges available for the 25th year to buy.

• Player Sponsorship for the year.

• Pre-Season Training Camp.

• Help with London travel/food.

• Help with Cornwall travel/food.

• Sponsored Mothers Day gifts.

• Sponsored Easter gifts.

• Multiple signed shirts that were gifted, given away or won.

• Donation to Ukraine.

• Sponsored the Food after the final game at the fox and pine.

• Run 2 main events (racing night & mickii Edwards night) both successes but we have plans for much more.

There’s also much more, a lot of small things we did with a few of the amateur teams which we will continue to do in 2023, we aim to work closely with the amateur sides in Oldham and promote Oldham rugby where we can.

We will be making the Fox and Pine our home once again in 2023 and we cannot thank them enough for the help, support and constant backing.

We also want to thank Barton Direct and John Roddy for constant sponsorship and help throughout last season, without that some of the trips would not of happened as we just didn’t have enough people booked for certain trips.

We want to thank every member for the support and paying a monthly fee to help build and create this thing that is now ours!!

One that people don’t hear about is the donations, we have had multiple small to big donations with lovely messages and we cannot thank you enough for them donations.

Thank-you for all of the support online, in person and for people who offer help and suggestions, this group is about Oldham’s fans and is for Oldham’s fans.

Let’s build on from this year and do it better and be more successful, better away trips, better togetherness before, during and after games, more events, more back for members.
